Our onsite CLIA certified and COLA Accredited laboratory enables us to diagnose and track a variety of medical conditions. DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) uses X-rays to look at the structural density of the bone. However, in addition to you DEXA scan, we check the strength of your spine with a set of XRAYs and you meet with a physician to optimize your nutrition and medical therapy. Using an ultrasound machine, our certified ultrasound technician is able to use non-invasive techniques and painlessly image your blood vessels and heart. Corticosteroid injections are given to relieve pain in joints such as the shoulder and knee. For years, the injection was given by the physician without any imagery. However, combined with sonographic imagery, we are able to see the injection happening real-time for optimal placement and pain relief.
